Capitol has many features that brides don’t get in many other venues.

Most brides fall in love with the rooftop. In Oklahoma there are not many rooftops and we have a rooftop that will hold 200 guests and if there is inclement weather, we move down to the event center. It gives the bride and groom confidence that their wedding won’t be ruined by weather.

We have several different ways that we like to set up the ceremony chairs on the rooftop. We have put the bride and groom in the middle and had the chairs in a circle around them, We of course can have the traditional two sections of chairs facing the bride and groom, and we can set the chairs in three pie shapes which allows the bride to walk straight out the door down the aisle. It brings the guests in just a little closer and allows there to be more intimacy.

Our Bridal Suite is big and open with enough room for 6 girls to be in front of mirrors at the same time. We let our bridal party on property at 10:00am so they can get started on their hair and makeup and relax and have lunch. The room is lined with windows for natural light and a private entrance from the parking lot so they can have privacy and so the groom can’t see the bride. The Grooms suite is furnished with video games and a pac man to keep the nervous jitters at bay!

Capitol View also provides a wedding day manager for Brides. The wedding day manager meets with the bride one month before the wedding and creates a professional timeline and gets every aspect of the day in a professional timeline, so everyone is on the same page wedding day. This allows the bride to relax and not have to worry about the small details on her big day!
